You'll be drawn immediately to the back deck that overlooks Donner Lake and the surrounding mountains. Inside, the living room isn't a bad place to spend your time either and features a floor to ceiling custom granite and wood fireplace. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, and is equipped with stainless steel top-of-the line appliances including a Wolf 6 burner gas range. The large master suite completes the main floor and offers access to the back deck, a large flat-screen TV and ensuite bath with large glass shower. Above the great room, your guests will love the game room, offering comfy seating around the flatcreen TV, a dedicated game table, piano, and dedicated work space. A sofa sleeper is ideal for groups needing an extra sleeping space. Downstairs hosts another spacious master suite that ensures no one feels slighted. It also offers a king bed, direct access to the back deck (which houses the covered hot tub), as well as it's own flat screen TV, and ensuite bath with jetted bath tub and a private sauna. This floor also offers two additional guest bedrooms, and a fantastic TV room with yet another fireplace, sofa sleeper, and beverage cooler; the perfect spot for kids to snuggle up for a movie after a long day on the hill. Tahoe Donner is one of America’s largest homeowner’s associations, with nearly 6,500 properties and 25,000 members enjoying over 7,000 acres in the Sierra Nevada mountains. In the winter, enjoy on site access to cross country and downhill skiing, and a snow play area which is a favorite among our younger visitors. In the summer, take advantage of the championship golf course and clubhouse, or bring the family to one of the private swimming pool complexes. You’ll also have access to a private beach club at Donner Lake, where you can avoid the crowds and spend a day paddle boarding, kayaking, or sunbathing on provided chaise lounges. Compared to other North Shore Tahoe locations, staying in Tahoe Donner cuts the drive from the bay area down by close to 45 minutes, so you’ll be enjoying the first cocktail of your vacation while others are still stuck in traffic. Tahoe Donner is minutes away from Historic Downtown Truckee, about 12 miles from Northstar California, and 16 miles from Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Included with your rental are two guest cards providing access to the amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Each guest card allows access for up to four guests over the age of 7.
