The reimagined Audubon Bar, anticipated to reopen mid October!

Over the decades, the bar has evolved with changing dining tastes, and this next chapter continues that tradition with care for the room’s history. Its original layout remains, with thoughtfully renewed finishes inspired by the original 1933 murals of Tucson artist and designer Leionne Salter, who worked alongside Isabella Greenway in shaping the Inn’s interiors.

Uncovered some time ago after decades beneath layers of paint, the murals and historic photographs of the original bar became the foundation for the redesign. Their patterns and colors live on in the fabrics, finishes and details, complemented by brass and bird motifs that honor the Inn’s long-standing love of the natural world.

Polished and a little more elevated, Audubon revives the post-Prohibition spirit that made it the place to be in 1933 - ready for new gatherings in 2026 and bringing a fresh perspective to dining with approachable American favorites, seasonal ingredients, and subtle touches of Sonoran flavor.
