So very grateful for our entire team at the inn! However, these two deserve extra kudos for their dedication, compassion and commitment to our guests, team and property. Our operations manager, Rowan has been with us over 3 years now and Amy just finished up her 1st year as well! No one can ever tell you just how hard it is to own your own business and be able to trust others to help assist in the process of making it successful. Each person has a gift and we are better off because of our differences! There are days one wants to throw in the towel and quit, days where we delight in reading reviews and caring for others who appreciate the hard work of paying attention to detail. Days like this one was, to simply celebrate the success of who you are as a person and the gratitude from one to another, go out to lunch and enjoy time together….So, I’m grateful to cherish the memories & all the good work you have both done! Let’s keep it up, summertime is nearly over and our winter visitors are coming back to enjoy our Ol’ Pueblo, southern Arizona and what our little inn has to offer guests! Go team Blenman!!!

Our summer closure was a success for all our team’s projects! From sorting and cleaning our dry storage, potter’s shed & maintenance area; to deep cleaning every room & sending our comforters and decorative pillows for dry cleaning, baseboards, floors, lining or relining paper in drawers…These photos only show a small portion of all hours of hard work & the behind the scenes effort that was spent to “spiffy up” the inn & get ready for a new season! I’m grateful for our team’s efforts, workmen who helped and also for my colleagues who are not pictured. They all have contributed so much, to get ready for our guests! Thank you Tucson and to those who come to spend time enjoying this historic home, the community & our city center!

Traveling is a hobby of ours and it’s been said “the best education one can receive”. No matter where we go we learn about the history and heritage of the places we are fortunate to visit. We so appreciate excellence in service, amazing food & people we meet. A bonus is also a renewed appreciation of our home when we return. Spring is here, our we little Tombstone Rosebush is blooming,birds chirping and although we r expecting record breaking temps for March this week…the swimming pool 🏊 is ready for a cool dip and our air conditioning is lovely 😊 inside awaiting your enjoyment! It’s been said, “When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping” or “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”…I like both after a hard day at the inn. A whole house rental for 5 days & 18 people) then turned into speedy cleaning for a a late checkout, new early checkin, stopped up kitchen sink , broken dryer, IT serviceman, appliance technician swearing at our old dryer, and well just your average chaos turned back into order…praise God! This historic appliance company helped replace our dryer, my patient husband finished installing the new one today, and although the sink is still partially clogged…we r up and running once again. ;). Thank you to my colleagues who worked so hard & tolerated the chaos. “Your attitude (and gratitude) determines your altitude” another one of my favorite sayings. buildings
