A Designer Goes To... Hotel McCoy

This is what happens when a hotel decides beige is not a requirement. 🌵🎨

Hotel McCoy is colorful, quirky, and proudly local- and also proof that memorable design doesn't require a cookie cutter approach or a massive budget.

From the murals to the vintage details to the unexpected little details, this place knows exactly how to create the right vibe.

Essentially what good design is supposed to do.

We loved it!

For me though, the biggest luxury was the friendliness of the staff. My only critique is to add some lighting with lampshades near the bed, and a charging port or two.
