We can’t believe it’s time to go back to school! And while we are still putting the finishing touches on the pool area, we didn’t want school to start without a pool party! We have been hoping to have a pool day for the community and now seems like as good of time as any!!!

Kids swim free! And adults if you’re not swimming, there’s no entry fee either. Our goal is that all our friends from Turkey, Quitaque, and beyond come check out the new pool and enjoy a little R&R before a busy school season starts!

This Sunday! August 16th! 3pm-6pm!!

New Boot Shop Session, y'all. And our dear friend, Charlie Shafter, gave us one of the most amazing versions of "Dear Diana" we have ever heard.

Charlie's been a writing songs for the better part of two decades now, moving down from Illinois and finding a home in Texas and his voice and style somewhere in-between and in a place that can not really be defined by genre or geography, but always leaning on a storyteller's way with words. Every time we hear him play, it's special, and to be able to put this one down for posterity is pretty special to us.

There's a reason folks who know good songwriting keep pointing people toward Charlie. This is exactly why.

And thank you guys for tuning in and listening in. The world is a better place because of music like Charlie's and because of people like you that support it.

They're driving in from Austin just to play our Back Patio, so the least we can do is show up and make it worth the trip!

Boy Howdy y’all!! We aren’t use to throwing that kind of party on a Friday. But heck, it could be a Tuesday and we know y’all would show up in droves for the one and only Josh Weathers

There truly is not a better person or performer out there and we are blessed to call Josh a friend.

And there is not a better crowd than a Hotel Turkey crowd at a Josh Weather’s concert. Thank you so much for coming out and having one heck of a summer send off party!!

Thank you to our HT crew!! You guys were and are amazing and you are the reason Hotel Turkey is the most special place in the world.

Songbird Jones was amazing kicking it off. And you can not beat Josh’s guys. Bubba Bellin , Paul, Mike…y’all are the best!!!

And extra special thanks to Jordan Thibeaux | Concert Photographer. We couldn’t get away from the bar or the kitchen for even a minute to try and snap a picture, but we didn’t need to…. Because you had it covered and WOW these photos are great!!

Y’all, let’s do it again real soon. And do yourself a favor. Listen to Josh’s music. Support Love Like You Mean It. Go to a show. Buy some merch. It makes the world a little bit of a better place. :)
