Yosemite National Park will be closed starting tonight at midnight due to a major winter storm. The park will remain closed at least through Sunday at noon (possibly later). Visitors currently in the park should leave as soon as possible, and no later than noon tomorrow, March 1.

The National Weather Service is forecasting several feet of snow throughout the park (Badger Pass may receive over seven feet!) with very high winds.

⚠️ MAJOR STORM ALERT ⚠️ We are expected to receive up to 110 inches of snow in the next three days. We understand your excitement to hit the slopes but this isn’t just another powder day. Travel may become impossible. Delays and closures are expected. Safety is our first priority. Any delays or closures will be announced here and on our website, stay tuned for up to the moment updates. As always check Caltrans for road conditions. Your patience will be appreciated as our operations team digs out throughout the storm.

Yosemite Reservations are OPENING!

REMINDER: Reservations for Yosemite National Park Peak Hours open tomorrow 🏔️

Yosemite National Park's pilot “Peak Hours Plus” 2024 is a vehicle reservation system for park entry on select days between April 13 and October 27, 2024. The dates affected are as follows:

• April 13 through June 30: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and on holidays (May 27 and June 19).
• July 1 through August 16: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm daily.
• August 17 through October 27: A reservation is required from 5 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (September 2 and October 14).

❄️ Allow enough time to reach your destination⁠
❄️ Keep your gas tank full⁠
❄️ Be prepared with chains and checkpoints⁠

Mother Nature has delivered and we are so stoked to announce opening day is Friday January 5th! We have received 15 inches at the summit and 10+ at the base with much more in the forecast for the next 10 days! Details on terrain and lift openings will be coming soon. We can’t wait to see you all up on the mountain for some skiing and riding!

Please note that we will be closed tomorrow January 4th for everything except for prescheduled private lessons as we prepare the mountain for the weekend.
