Lost Horse Homes draws its name from the historic Lost Horse Mine trail in Joshua Tree National Park. 🌡✨ For those who love their hikes steeped in history, read on and save this for your next adventure! πŸ‘‡

Discover the Lost Horse Mine, a site that produced over 10,000 ounces of gold and 16,000 ounces of silver from 1894 to 1931. This trail is a 4-mile round trip with 550 feet of elevation gain, offering a journey through western history with tales of cowboys, miners, and the allure of gold.

For those seeking a longer trek, the 6.2-mile Lost Horse Loop with 1292 feet of elevation gain promises stunning views, historical remnants, and some of the best Joshua trees in the park. Most hikers prefer the clockwise route for a rewarding adventure. πŸŒ„πŸžοΈ

The Cholla Cactus 🌡🌸

The Cholla Cactus Garden is a 0.2-mile loop trail in Twentynine Palms. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 4 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and walking. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime, but especially at sunrise and sunset when you can see the cacti almost like glowing ✨
