The South Shore Resort was built in 1909, we tried to preserve the past so each cabin is decorated with the olden days in mind along with the necessities of today. There are 4 cabins, the main Lodge, and 100' of private sandy beach here on our 3 acres of picket fenced in land. nd. Uniquely designed, you will always see something interesting within the walls. The Lodge is 4000 square feet and has more space than you will ever need. The main level has 4 bedrooms each with a queen bed along with two half baths. Full kitchen, dining and living area. The second level has 3 bedrooms. One room has a king bed with an attached bath with shower, one with two queen beds with an attached bath with shower/tub, and one with king and queen beds with an attached bath with shower. $3100 for the week. Eagle Cabin: This two story cabin will sleep 12 peacefully. There are two bedrooms on the main level, one with a queen and the other with two queen beds. The upper level offers a queen bed on the landing and four twin beds in the bedroom. 1 1/2 baths, full kitchen and living area on the main level. This cabin is great for families that like to vacation together. The Eagle Cabin is finished in knotty pine, with scenic views of Twin Lake. $1500 for the week. Bluejay Cabin: This cute 3 bedroom cabin sleeps 6 peacefully, 3 bedrooms with two king beds and one queen, with a full bath, full kitchen, and a sofa sleeper in the living room for that extra family member. This cabin sits 10ft behind the Eagle cabin, so you can still see the sunsets over Twin Lake from the living room. $1400 for the week. Sparrow Cabin: This sizable 2 bedroom cabin sleeps 8-10 peacefully, 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The complete kitchen is perfect for preparing meals to enjoy on the deck. $1400 for the week. Wren Cabin: This cabin is perfect for a quiet family getaway. Each bedroom offers a queen bed along with a futon in the living room sleeping 4-6 peacefully. Full bath and kitchen. $1050 for the week. This property is truly the perfect place for a large family or groups that are looking to spend time together. All cabin rentals include the use of our canoes, row boats, kayaks', fire pits, shuffle board, bikes, recreational garage, gas grills, TV channels, VCR/video library, towels, children's playground, bikes, volleyball, basketball and much more. This area features countless opportunities such as golf courses, amusement/water parks, theaters, nature trails, festivals, shopping, horseback riding, antique malls, museums, bike trails, arts and craft shows, dining, breweries, sand dunes and of course the incredible sunsets over Lake Michigan!
