hirlwind!!! We are living in the Innkeepers suite and running the Inn. We feel that living here we will be able to give it the attention it needs to make our guest’s stays unforgettable. We have located from Cape Cod. Nathan has lived on the Cape for his entire life. Christine spent most of her life on the NH border, in Lowell & Tyngsboro, MA, living most recently on the Cape for 9 years. We got married 1 year ago. Nathan has 4 boys and Christine has 2 sons. We also have our dog Bailey. Bailey is 5 years old and is a gentle giant- Daniff. Bailey is sad, but we do not allow her into the Inn, but you may see her out in the yard. Our #1 priority is to make sure the Inn lives up to your expectations and exceeds them! Initially we have been going through doing a deep cleaning & some redecorating.

1st major change is the kitchenette & coffee bar. We have complimentary coffee, tea & hot chocolate available for you, along with some light breakfast foods. Coffee bar has all accessories to make your perfect hot beverage. Along with a dual Keurig that both brews K cups or a pot of coffee, we have a Pour Over & French Press. Light breakfast food variety will change but will include items such as bread for toast, English muffins, bagels, cereal bars, frozen breakfast sandwiches, butter, cream cheese, peanut butter & jelly & cereal. We have silverware, mugs, cups, plates & bowls. We also have a wine bottle opener. We look forward to having you stay with us! Christine & Nathan Holman

🏔️ A Late-May View from Jefferson, NH 🌼

Just a few miles from Twin Mountain, Jefferson is putting on quite a show right now.

Green fields dotted with wildflowers, dramatic cloud-filled skies, and snow still clinging to the Presidential Range create one of those classic White Mountain scenes that never gets old.

One of the things we love about living here is how quickly the landscape changes. Down in the valleys, spring is in full swing. Up on the mountains, winter is still holding on.

These photos were taken in neighboring Jefferson and capture the beauty of late May in the White Mountains—a season where you can enjoy blooming dandelions in a t-shirt and still find snow-covered peaks in the same view.

If you're visiting the area this weekend, take some time to slow down, pull over at a scenic spot, and enjoy the views. They're pretty spectacular right now.

📸 A Glimpse Back in Time – Twin Mountain circa 1900

Recently, we had the opportunity to take a closer look at this incredible panoramic photograph of Twin Mountain taken from Beecher's Pulpit around 1900.

The photo captures a very different White Mountains—open farmland stretching across the valley, scattered homes and barns, and a grand Twin Mountain Hotel standing proudly near the center of town. Many of the forests we see today hadn't yet reclaimed the fields.

It's fascinating to compare this view to modern Twin Mountain and imagine what life was like here more than 125 years ago.

As innkeepers, we love discovering pieces of local history like this and sharing them with our guests. Every old photograph tells a story, and this one captures a moment when Twin Mountain was still a small farming community beneath the Presidential Range.

These photos were part of a wonderful historical display presented by the Twin Mountain - Bretton Woods Historical Society during Memorial Day weekend. If you ever have the opportunity to visit one of their exhibits, it's well worth the time. The collection offers a fascinating look at how Twin Mountain, Bretton Woods, and the surrounding area have evolved over the generations.

Have you ever seen this historic view before? We'd love to hear your memories, stories, or family connections to Twin Mountain.
