Happy Memorial Day Weekend! No AI photos here. It just a top 10 day, cool crisp fresh air, and a touch of frost this morning which means last night was a GREAT nights sleep under the stars. The pool is open and the water is an amazing 65 degrees! Best its ever been this early in the season. Come see our improvements, stay a while and live a lifetime. We have tent and rv site available. Also a few cabins. It's gonna be a wonderful weekend. Please travel safe and let the "fast" drivers go. Your goal is to get to your destination. Hopefully it is to see us....

Welcome to a new year of camping at Along the River Campground! Time is quickly running out for all our prep-work. We will get 'er done! The campus has been completely cleaned of all the winter debris. New picnic tables have all been placed and the old ones collected. We had some beavers take all the 6 ft tall pines between R6A and R6B. Little buggers!!! James, our son, came over and de-thatched the grass and did the first mowing. Looks like a carpet! It is full on crunch time. Getting the grass planted for cabins 7 & 8, the crew is working on the log cabin that is replacing the original cabin 5. We have lots of new products for the camp store including some awesome clothing. We look forward to seeing all our guests this summer. Enough talk, I have to get back at it as there are only 16 days until we open on Friday, May 15th! Book your site or cabin, and bring a friend. We are ideally located in mountain paradise.

Only 23 days until we open! I can not believe how fast the time is flying by. We are very busy with more improvements for you. Everyone will have a modern picnic table at your site or cabinthis season. Those "cute" old style picnic tables are finally GONE. Here you see Michelle inspecting our work. Wayne and I have a system of converting a pile of wet lumber and galvanized frames into a table every 30 minutes. 49 new tables this year.

Just arrived today! Here we have enough new picnic table frames to give every site a walk through table. No more stepping over the wooden seat. No more tiny 4 ft tables. We continue our quest to improve your experience camping with us. On April 1st it will be 44 days until opening day. This is NOT one of those April Fools posts, this is truth. Thank you to all who visited us at the NH camping show this past weekend. We meet a lot of previous guests and so many new folks looking to get away to the White Mountains. Our winter season is now over and our campers have sadly gone home. But this is not the end, it's the beginning of a great 2026 summer camping season! Mother Nature gave us a huge and vibrant rainbow right over our campground. (Just ignore those angry clouds.) I guess we are the "pot of gold".

We are so glad that we purchased our campground in 2019 in the amazing state of New Hampshire. Though we are partial, this is truly one of the best camping and rv shows around. Plenty of trailers and drive available units to look at and so, so many campgrounds are here to answer your questions. We are sharing because we have gotten to know many of the owners by being active in the NH Campground Owners Association. Scroll through the photos showing many of the campgrounds in attendance. Spring is coming soon. Book your site or cabin before all the folks who attend the RV shows. We have something for everyone! Cabins with AC and bathrooms, primitive tent sites, river view tent sites with water and electric, RV sites all with full hookups, free wifi, play in the river or swim in our pool. We are central to the White Mountain region and so much to do.
