Every handful of years, there is an additional week between Memorial and Labor Day weekends. This happens in 2026, giving us an extra week for reservations!

Although reservations during this week are not re-bookable for the following year, it is a great time to try out Half Moon Trail, or come back for a visit.

We've started booking for that week (June 27-July 4) and cabins are filling up, but we still have several cabins left if you are looking for a vacation for summer of 2026.

Check out out availability page (linked in the comments) to see which cabins remain and if they'd be a good fit for your family!

Some of you have been asking for some updates on our new builds!

Cabin 8 (the one story) is being re-built. The former Cabin 8 was moved to another property in the area and is being used as a hunting cabin.

Cabin 20 (the two story cabin) is our brand new, four bedroom, two bathroom cabin. Both will be ready for the 2025 season!

Beautiful Boot Lake opened up in front of the resort this morning after the wind picked up and blew the ice north! We’re starting to gear up for y’all!

Boot Lake is showing off today with the golden tamaracks lighting up the glassy shoreline!

Also, a little glimpse into the latest additions to the Cabin 6 rebuild - windows and the roof! The view out of those big picture windows is incredible!
