If we're being honest, this little sign means so much more to us than simply "we're full."
This season has absolutely blown us away. When we purchased Cool City Motel and began planning renovations, we never anticipated seeing this sign lit up as often as it has been. Yet here we are- FULL again this weekend.
What many people don't see are the long days, late nights, unexpected setbacks, construction dust, and countless decisions happening behind the scenes as we work to transform the property. Renovating while remaining open has been a balancing act, and there have been plenty of moments where we've had to adapt, problem-solve, and trust the process.
That's why every time this sign comes on, we're reminded of something much bigger than occupancy. It reminds us that guests continue to choose us, support us, and believe in what we're building - even while renovations are still underway.
To everyone who has stayed with us, shared a kind word, left a review, recommended us to a friend, or simply been patient during this journey: thank you.
We're incredibly grateful, incredibly humbled, and more motivated than ever to keep improving.
This sign may say "No Vacancy," but to us, it says "Keep going." ❤️
