We spend so much of our lives waiting for the big moments—the dream vacation, the perfect house, the milestone, the celebration. And those things are wonderful. But when you look back, it’s rarely the grand moments you miss the most.

It’s the morning coffee in your favorite spot.
The way the light comes through the window at the end of the day.
A long conversation with someone you love.
Bare feet, salty air, a good song, an unexpected sunset.
Laughing until your stomach hurts.
A quiet moment when, for no particular reason, everything just feels right.

Those are the moments that make up a life.

Maybe happiness isn’t something we’re supposed to keep chasing. Maybe it’s already here, tucked into a hundred ordinary moments we’re moving too quickly to notice.

So slow down when you can. Look around. Take the picture. Stay for the sunset. Pour another cup of coffee. Tell people you love them.

Because someday, you realize the moments that seemed so small at the time were never small at all.

The little things were the big things all along. ❤️

I grew up on Tybee Island, and for years my biggest dream was to move back home. 🌴💙

I spent YEARS scrolling Zillow, touring homes, and watching one opportunity after another slip away. Every time, I’d remind myself that it just meant something even better was waiting for me.

Then one day, I found the house. The moment I saw it, I got goosebumps. It was even built the same year I was born—1985. Somehow, all the pieces I’d been working toward finally fell into place. ❤️

Around the same time, my partner Frazier was given the opportunity to help build Tybee’s first and only brewery, Back River Brewery. Suddenly, two lifelong dreams became reality at the same time.

Today we’re lucky enough to call Tybee home and share this special little corner of it through Creekside Paradise Tybee.

If I can leave you with one thing, it’s this: Don’t give up on your dreams just because they’re taking longer than you hoped. Sometimes life is quietly putting the pieces together before you can see the whole picture. ✨

The best Tybee memories usually happen away from the crowds. 🌅✨
Sunsets from the screened porch, a soak in the waterfront hot tub, colorful spaces full of character, and quiet mornings by the creek. This is the side of Tybee most visitors never see. 💙

FYI: Airbnb has now decided to place all of the service fees onto the host & not charge the guests any. BUT they are encouraging all hosts to raise their prices by 15.5% to counteract these fees. They even made us a handy little slide show to show us how to increase our prices. This is intentionally misleading to guests in my opinion & another money grab on their part. So not only do they still get the 15.5% but they increase the total that they are getting that percentage from. Book direct when you safely can good people ✌️ www.creeksideparadisetybee.com
