Enjoy these scenes from a cozy red sofa or queen bed with a handmade Tybee Island driftwood headboard, while dozing off for an afternoon nap after a morning stroll along the sandy shores. This condo is specifically equipped so that when I get the urge to head down myself, I don't have to run home for anything. Some evenings after a long day at the office, I get 'flip flop fever' and grab my sunglasses and retreat to my home away from home. I truly have put my personal touch on the entire condo from the Pier One dishes, the fine wine glasses on the wet bar to the original paintings from a recent trip to Belize and Honduras. In past years, I have rented condos at Tybee for my family and I was often disappointed in the presentation and the bare minimum preparation. I have gone to great efforts to make my condo exceed your expectations regarding preparation and presentation. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the dishes, pots/pans and accessories you would need to prepare a Sunday meal or brew a quick pitcher of ice tea to sit on the porch and enjoy sipping throughout the afternoon. I am a big crockpot lover, when I’m visiting the beach. It’s so easy to throw something in the crockpot before heading out to catch some rays and when you return – lunch is ready! There is a large crockpot for your use and I have left a recipe on the counter for you for an easy, delicious pulled pork barbque. A high powered telescope located in the living room, allows you an up close and personal view of the sights and sounds of Tybee Island, Georgia. Watch the dolphins play, see the fish jumping or peek in on the kite boarders that frequently entertain us with their presence. Hilton Head Island is just a few miles across the ocean and can be viewed through this exciting piece of technology. The bath linens are of exceptional quality, soft and comfy. I have left plenty of bedding for your convenience and there is a blow up mattress in case you bring more friends. I really believe it is the small touches that make someone feel welcome and relaxed. My goal in decorating this condo was to create an environment that is conducive of a relaxing beach vacation. A true 'home away from home' feeling that will keep you coming back for more. The community is private with gated entrance and offers 2 pools and a kiddie pool. Another thing that bothered me when searching properties to rent for my vacation was the differences in the advertised price and the actual price after all the cleaning fees, insurance costs and taxes. Therefore, my nightly rate includes all cleaning fees and taxes so the PRICE YOU SEE IS THE PRICE YOU PAY.
