A new year has come and our Historic Christmas Cactus 🌵 is in bloom once again! We estimate this cactus was started sometime in the late 1800's, for the almost the last 40 years it has called the Villa home.

A hair wreath is an interesting curiosity from the Victorian era that you can find during your stay at The Victorian Villa. It is made from human hair as a decoration or memorial for a loved one. Creating hair art was taught to women as part of their domestic skills.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK:
We enjoyed our time at The Victorian Villa Inn. It was so nice to have
some time to relax and refresh. We appreciated our talks with Suzy and her
kind hospitality.
The Lighting Shoppe was incredible, and we purchased a few items from the
store.

The Victorian Villa Christmas Cactus in full bloom. It is believed to be over 140+ years old, started sometime in the 1870's or 1880's. It was Acquired by Ronald J. Gibson from Bill Gamble around 1995. It originally belonged to Bill's grandmother who started the cactus, which it was passed to Bill's mother Wave Gamble, who passed in the 1980's in her 80's and subsequently passed it to Bill.
