We been open 6 years TODAY!!! Happy Birthday to Gloria's on Exchange (GOE).

Back in 2018, Airbnb was a pretty new concept and we were skeptical if the concept would work in rural Union City, TN.

Much to our surprise and delight, it was the right call and through the years, we've hosted well over 1,000 individuals, companies, and families at our little engine that could.

We feel grateful that our little Airbnb/VRBO has been open for 4 years this month. In 2018, we weren't sure the vacation rental concept would be viable here in downtown Union City, but Gloria's on Exchange (GOE as we like to call her), has been an overwhelming success.

Guests just read and follow the instructions and we take care of the rest!

We just added comfy new winter bedding for both of our queen beds. All beds have hotel grade sheets and relaxing mattress toppers along with very nice comforters. With our en suite fireplaces, you will be cozy and warm even if it's cold outside.

Get away for the weekend and come to NW TN and see the giant pelicans migrating at Reelfoot Lake State Park this time of year and visit Discovery Parkof America, only 1 mile from us.

Gloria's on Exchange (GOE) is coming up on her 4th anniversary so we are celebrating by UPGRADING with NEW living room furniture and bedding. Check out these sweet recliners which swivel and double as rocking chairs. They are so comfortable.

We are also adding new memory foam toppers to all of our beds and new winter bedding and extra soft throws for the two queen beds.

GOE only has 2 bedrooms ( 1 w/queen and 1 w/2 twins) listed on Airbnb/VRBO, but we have an additional queen bed and desk non - listed that is available for a small additional charge. Inquire if interested.

I never post enough pictures of our little Vacation Rental/Airbnb, Gloria's on Exchange aka GOE.

This little house has been such a gift to us in so many ways. We get kind messages from people from all over the country coming to Union City for one reason or another. Many are repeat guests and are so thoughtful to share their experience in our home.

GOE isn't a mansion or super fancy, but very clean, comfortable, and tricked out with technology, while also being personalized so our guests feel like it's their home while they are staying with us.

We are nearing our 3.5 year anniversary of being open. How time flies. Back in 2018 when we bought GOE and started thinking about all this Airbnb/Vacation Rental stuff, David and I were both scared and excited.

GOE averages 25 nights per month and we have bookings into May of 2022.

We are incredibly grateful to our neighbors for their trust as we tried what was then sill a pretty new concept to our area.

We thank our city who worked with us to create zoning rules/regulations to accommodate a different type of lodging option that didn't legally exist in Union City, TN at the time we opened.

And, we finally have some fruit growing in "The Orchard" adjacent to the house. David and I are loving watching these baby trees grow up and hope our guests and neighbors will continue to enjoy this green space as well.

Spring is HERE and our little arboretum adjacent to Gloria's on Exchange is getting more beautiful by the day. We are excited to provide this additional green space to our guests and their human and fur children!
