You MUST hire Jason from Michigan's Sunset Coast to teach a private line dance class while at Elephant Walk- perfect for all ages, all abilities. Or, attend one of his pre-scheduled events in the area! Excellent instruction and lots of laughs, smiles, camaraderie, CONNECTION! You just have to tell me when you do it so I can join in the fun!

No better place to be on a sticky hot day with smooth seas… it’s not where you boat, it’s who you boat with! If you don’t have access to a boat and tube, rent them Oselka Marina in New Buffalo for a trip no one will forget!

Loved visiting Handmade Studio Michigan and taking a class in block printing! What a great indoor activity when you need a break from the sun. Check out all the classes they offer as well as their shop in Sawyer which has all sorts of artwork and prints for sale. No other place like it in the area. I’ll be back for sure. Next up, screen printing merch for Elephant Walk guests!

Last weekend, we visited Verdant Hollow Farm and went on a goat hike. Highly recommend a drive to Buchanan to spend time with these sweet, social creatures and with Molly and family who manage the farm. The goat cheese we bought in the farm store was delish!

Spent the morning at LAVENDER BLISS FLOWER FARM last weekend picking lavender bunches for a friend who is healing from surgery and for friends who were hosting us for dinner. What a pleasant, relaxing way to kick off a weekend. Don’t forget to get some lavender lemonade to keep you hydrated. Thank you for such a lovely morning!
