It’s been a long, smoky, and scary month for all of us at Quadrant 25.
Recently, a fire started approximately a mile from the property. Thanks to cameras installed by a neighbor and monitored by the Forest Service, the heat was detected quickly. The volunteer Medical Springs Rural Fire Department immediately jumped into action—even driving a fire truck into Forest Service land to begin the response.
Additional crews and air support soon arrived, and the fire was brought under control before it could spread further.
This situation could have turned out very differently. Because of the generosity, vigilance, and incredibly quick response of our neighbors, local volunteers, and fire crews, our property was spared.
That is, without question, one of our biggest reasons for gratitude this year.
We are deeply thankful for the Medical Springs Rural Fire Department, the Forest Service, everyone who responded, and for the privilege of being part of a community that shows up when it matters most. ❤️
