There’s something about walking through a little patch of trees and finding an old bench tucked away between them that feels like stepping back in time.

For a moment, you can almost remember being a kid again—wandering off from the grown-ups, making your own little hideaway, where the trees became walls and the world felt miles away.

Then, just beyond the trees, a path opens up and leads you back out across the rest of the property. It’s almost like the little hideaway slowly gives way to the real world again—back to where you came from, back to reality.

Maybe that’s what makes places like this so special. They give you just enough time to disappear for a moment, remember what it felt like to be a kid, and then gently lead you back home. 🌳🪵
