FYI!!!

CELLULAR OUTAGES: Our 911 Dispatch Center continues to operate and respond to calls, as do our first responders, in spite of this morning’s cellular outage impacting numerous mobile phone providers.

However, some connectivity issues persist, especially if the caller is only on cellular data. If the mobile phone is connected to Wi-Fi, calling 911 does not appear to be impacted.

Until cellular providers resolve the issue, we encourage people with only cellphones to remain close to a Wi-Fi connection or a landline. Both 911 and the nonemergency line 830-249-8645 are operating.
