Dear Community Vendor:
Attached please find Bee in Motion’s request for sponsors to aid in the support of our Mission Statement and the upcoming, 12 scheduled dances we plan on hosting.
A nonprofit organization number 47-5268065
By giving just a little bit you make an impact on people with disabilities lives. We are asking local vendors to contribute to Bee in Motion for upcoming scheduled dances we are hosting in our community. Our dances are open to the public and -- of course, open to people with disabilities. It is our intention to host these events for the benefit of all. Every member of our community should be able to go out and have fun with their friends and/or family.
Your generous sponsorship will help this organization keep going and keep its Mission Statement alive.
Mission Statement
To bring music & movement to everyone in RI, CT, MA who have a disability.
To have these workshops bring peace, joy, and happiness in a “no-judgment zone.”
Freedom of expression and dancing, and to serve as a powerful example.
Your contribution in the amount of $900 will cover the costs of the dances we have scheduled. We host twelve dances throughout the year, each dance has a theme. We have a selected venue and DJ scheduled. If you sponsor our dances, your business will be in our weekly newsletter as well as well as featured on our Partners & Friends website for a five-month period.

We thank you for giving to this organization. We hope that you can have a lasting impression on our organization and its Mission Statement. We help people with disabilities in our community. We believe in inclusion of all people with disabilities into the mainstream.
Mr. Dennis Harvey has created Bee In Motion, a mobile movement therapy workshop, as a means for students and young adults of all abilities to explore self-expression and non-verbal communications through movement and music.
In conjunction with a licensed Occupational Therapist, Mr. Harvey has developed a repertoire of movement exercises that stimulate changes in brain chemistry and affect positive alterations in emotions, thoughts, physical functioning, and behaviors.
Mr. Harvey facilitates a forty-five-minute workshop that incorporates music, singing, instrument playing, and parachute work into a cohesive series of therapeutic exercises that provide sensory stimulation and social inclusion for up to twenty participants.
Based on the understanding that the body, mind, and spirit are interrelated, movement therapy is defined by the American Dance Therapy Association as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to further emotional, cognitive, physical, and social integration of the individual.
At all times, Mr. Harvey strives to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and learning regardless of ability. He has created Bee In Motion as a vehicle to encourage self-discovery in others and to promote the expression of inner feelings through music and movement.
