Goodrich Hotel Unique hotel suites. Full kitchen with pots and pans. Inside dog kennels. Two queen beds. Historical 1908 building. There are six suites on the upper floor.

The hotel is under new ownership and is gradually getting some improvements. We have put in new windows on the upper floor, new roof, and fresh paint on the outside. We were impressed with the size of the suites for we had never been in the Goodrich and we have lived in Vale since 1977. Three of the suites have two queen size beds, seating area, bathroom and full kitchen. Three of the suites have

the full kitchen, seating area, bathroom and one queen size bed. The bottom floor has a 5 bed plan for larger groups. Laundry facilities are available. Reservations are needed to stay . The Goodrich also houses a chiropractic office (Dr. Belnap is open only on Thursdays) and a store (Happy Horse Apparel) that sells a variety of things and some from local artists. This is a non smoking building. We do not have cable or WIFI at this time. This is a unique rental because it is not just a bed and bathroom. The rate varies from a single at $80. double at $95 (more than two nights you can deduct $10 per night) and 5 bed unit at $150 per night. There are four indoor dog kennels and it is $10 extra for your pet . It is located right in the middle of town and has off street parking in the rear. It is within walking distance of eating places such as Chavalita's, The Sagebrush, and Miracle Eatery (formerly Dairy Queen).

Just to the end of May I have a furnished 3 bedroom home for rent on a daily basis plus it has 2 unfurnished bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed, next has full bed, and third has a single bed. One and a half baths. Kitchen is fully equiped with dishes and pots and pans. Fenced back yard. Near high and middle school. House has sold but doesn't close until end of May so I am renting it out until that time. $150 per night. Pets (on approval) $20 each. You need to keep the house as you found it. The way I do this is you need to send me a text with a picture of your driver's license and car license plate and I take your CC information with Square One. Add 5% for fees. It is booked for 7 days so far. April 17, 2021

A post for 2021. It has been an interesting time we are having with this Covid issue. Right this very minute all my apartments are occupied for awhile. I have guests waiting to get into a house they bought, one getting theirs fixed after a fire, etc. Housing in this area has been short so with these being fully furnished apartments; this gives my guests a nice place until their next step.

Wow, 2020 is already on it's way and going fast and I see I haven't posted anything for a long time. We are still keeping busy and still continue to have great guests who are staying nightly, weekly, and by the month. Some geothermal workers just finished a few months stay while improving the Bully Creek Geothermal Plant outside of Vale.I have had solar crews staying and those coming to Vale may see "crops" of solar farms around the area. I have hunters that return to me from year to year and since we own a few farms around the area I am able to hook them up with areas to hunt. They are great guys and leave my apartments neat and tidy. A shout out to those guys and also to my fishing guys that go to the Owyee and fish. I have had wonderful guests that appreciate this historic building and completely furnished apartment stay. I do not have that many units available for there are 3 on the top floor and one on the bottom floor that are available now for I have summer employed people staying with me in the other units. People stay nightly, weekly, and monthly.
Since I do get people staying longer term I usually don't take reservations that are weeks out but you never know. Just call me for I am available pretty much 24/7, unless I am driving, to see what is available. Texting me is best 541 216 1675. Thanks. Lana Andrews

Just call 541 216 1675 to see if I have any apartment openings. Day and weekly rates. I have had great guests stay at the Goodrich. They respect the building and take good care of the apartment. You can reach me by phone/text (no answering if driving but will pull off and field the message) at nearly any time. I have a lock box situation so I am not at the hotel but when you are approved I will give you a room with the lockbox combination that is hanging on the door. I have cameras recording the building for security. At this time 10/17 Credit card rates are $67.50 for one bed, $84 for two bed and $157.50 for the five bed apartment per night (that includes the lodging state tax as well). Cash or check can deduct 3%. Ideally located for close walking distance to nearly every eatery and tavern in town (4 within two blocks). It also has WiFi.
