After careful consideration of current participation levels and overall event logistics, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Mud Run. This cancellation applies only to the Mud Run portion of the event.

We are still moving forward with our Trunk-or-Treat event, so we hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled day of community, costumes, and Halloween festivities!

With the Mud Run canceled, we’ll also be putting our energy into our big Easter 5K, which we’re excited to make an amazing event for the whole community. More information about the Easter 5K, including registration and event details, will be coming soon!

We sincerely appreciate everyone who registered, supported, and helped spread the word about the Mud Run. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at Trunk-or-Treat and, of course, at our Easter 5K!

It’s shaping up to be a scorcher, which means it's officially time to crack open a cold drink, soak up the sun, and cool off by the water. (Yes, the wait is over—you are officially allowed to have that cold beverage in hand after Thursday! 🍻)

Please be advised that Lake Camanche gate hours on Fridays and Saturdays are now reduced to 8:00 PM. Make sure to plan your arrivals and departures accordingly!

A huge thank you to all the incredible Portuguese Water Dogs Portuguese Water Dog Club of Northern California dedicated handlers, judges, and volunteers who is making this weekend's water trials at Lake Camanche an absolute splash!

Watching these magnificent dogs do what they were born to do from retrieving gear and lines to working alongside boats, is a true testament to their rich heritage and intelligence.

​If you missed out on the action, don't worry! There is still time to come on out to Lake Camanche this weekend to see working dogs in action.

It takes a village to protect our local lake, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible community spirit shown this weekend.

The summer vibes are absolutely perfect here today. I am stoked that the north shore cafe is still serving up amazing meals for everyone. It is still warm enough to enjoy a comfy outdoor lunch.
