This will be passing through Valparaiso just four blocks from the bed-and-breakfast!! Train fans make your reservation reservations. valpoinn.com.

📣 Hey Railfans! Big Boy 4014 will be coming through Indiana on its track East for the first time since it was manufactured in November 1941 by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) in Schenectady, New York. This is the largest operational steam engine in the United States and only Big Boy left in operation!

Big Boy will be coming through Indiana on June 5th 2026 as part of a Eastern United States tour! It will be making a couple stops in Indiana! The only stop with public viewing will be in Argos Indiana! It will stop in Fort Wayne but no public viewing is allowed.

Railfans will also be able to view it as it moves through towns along the way! This tour is possible from the Union Pacific- Norfolk Southern merger. UP & NS want to remind railfans to stay at least 25' back from the tracks and standing on or near the tracks is trespassing and very dangerous.

Fantastic!!

Hearty salad with beets, arugula, goat cheese, grilled chicken with a yogurt mint dressing. We also have grilled scallops and 7 spice mussels today as well. Cheers to some sunshine! ☀️

We are deeply grateful for the leadership of President José Padilla, J.D., whose steady guidance and unwavering commitment to the student experience have strengthened our small but mighty university amid the rapidly changing higher-education landscape.
