Big Spring RV Camp provides tube trips, kayak trips, RV camping. Big Spring RV Camp is located on the banks of the spring fed, crystal clear Current River less than 1/2 mile down stream from the bridge at Van Buren, Missouri.
Our facilities are located in the heart of Missouri's Scenic Ozarks. We are only a short driving distance from St. Louis, Springfield, and Sikeston. We have many shaded RV sites located on the banks of the Beautiful Current River. Each site is at least 40 feet wide with most large enough to accommodate even the longest big rig. Facilities include water, sewer, electric (20, 30, 50 AMP), picnic table, WIFI and cable TV. Although, right on the river, our facilities have only flooded once in the last 100 years. Big Spring RV Camp is known for their family friendly atmosphere as well as swimming beaches.

Camping Rules – RV & Tent 5/28/18
· We are a pet friendly campground. Because of insurance requirements, protection and enjoyment of other campers, we cannot accept dogs that may be intimidating to others. (For example, breeds such as Pit bulls, Rottweilers Dobermans, etc.) If there are any questions, please get clarification when making a reservation.
· Dogs in the campground need to be picked up after and leashed at all times.
· On weekends we have a two-night minimum. (Friday & Saturday, Thursday & Friday or Saturday & Sunday). We have a three-night minimum on 3 day holiday weekends.
· Enforced quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. No vehicle traffic after 11 PM
· Credit or debit card deposit for one night is required to hold a reservation. All cancellations made 7 days or more prior to reservation date will be charged a $10 cancellation/service fee.
Cancellations made 6 days or less before reservation will lose full deposit.
· All visitors must check in at the office upon arrival to our campground. There is a one-time $5 non-camper visitor fee. Fee covers multiple days.
· In order for Campground management to know who is on site, campers, floaters, and visitors must wear wristbands at all times. Wristbands are given at the office.
· Any vehicle in the campground must have the appropriate vehicle tag hanging from the rearview mirror. Tags are given out at the office.
· In addition to all types of tube trips, we are now offering kayak trips. To limit congestion, only those campers staying with us for four or more nights will be allowed to self-haul tubes, kayaks, rafts, canoes, etc. on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday weekends.
WE REQUEST THAT ALL CAMPERS, FLOATERS, & VISITORS REVIEW OUR RULES PRIOR TO COMING TO BIG SPRING RV CAMP. Although we strive to keep rules to a minimum, compliance is necessary to maintain our family campground environment. Any person not following the rules is subject to immediate removal from the premises.
Floating Rules – Tubes & Kayaks
· We welcome both floaters that camp with us and those that just come to float with us.
· In addition to all types of tube trips, we are now offering kayak trips. To limit congestion, only those campers staying with us for four or more nights will be allowed to self-haul tubes, kayaks, rafts, canoes, etc. on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday weekends.
· A 50% credit or debit credit card deposit is required to reserve a kayak on the weekends. Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance to get a refund.
· Kayak trips – Across from Raftyard to Big Spring RV Camp
10 ft Pelican float on top kayaks $40 per person
· Due to prior negative experiences, we are unable to let you take your pets on float trips.
· We do haul customer tubes and kayaks

Pricing includes tube and transportation to put in point. Average float time does not include any stopping time and can vary with river conditions.
· We do allow consumption of alcoholic beverages, but we do not allow behavior that is offensive to other customers
