This Front Desk position along with all other front desk duties, will require:
Personally greet all Guests upon their arrival at the hotel in a professional, courteous manner according to hotel policy.
Register Guests, take phone calls, make reservations, and check out guests in an accurate, timely and polite manner.
Compute bill and collect payment methods including cash and credit card transactions according to hotel policy.
Must be computer literate and able to take a common sense approach to every situation.
Act as concierge answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of Guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
Communicate effectively, multitask, and handle time sensitive tasks under pressure.
Display a positive and consistent team oriented demeanor at all times by maintaining clear channels of communications open with upper management, fellow employees, and Guests in compliance with Company policies.
Follow procedures for notifying the proper company management level employees and civil authorities in the event of an emergency or anticipated emergency.
