We have received inquiries for extended stay 30 day intervals. Yes we do provide a part of our campground for extended stays. We can hold a spot for 14 days with a deposit down after camper inspection. (Current pictures and video that match current state of camper). More information call 228-346-0404.

Jeep versus Broncos will be held on Labor Day weekend. There will be an admission fee to enter as well as an admission fee to enter a bronco or Jeep.

We are creating new camp spots! That very last sandbar that you couldn’t really get to is soon going to be the sandbar area for campers. We have created trails that go straight to the water . When completed, this will make camping a true delight. Each campsite will be closed off we will build fire pits debating on tables maybe certain ones and private access to the beach. It’s taking a lot of work, but I do believe that it will give y’all the campers a even better experience

We have had questions about weekly and bi-weekly rates here for RVs. Standard pad (32-38 ft)RV 32 ft or less on average (other factors could make it less or more) $200 Weekly $375. Bi-weekly. Monthly is $650. -$750.

We have had several calls and messages about coming in over the spring and summer. Since we do have so many campers coming in tents for group camping call about our group rates. We will be doing 10,20,30 people group rates.  We are clearing out more prime primitive spots, right on the river whether it’s 1 person or 30. Prime primitive is blocked off on three sides by trees traditionally. You’re only opening is to the private road. Perfect for those who love nature and want their privacy. We do have semi-secluded spots in field camping as well. Remember when you book a site for camping your day passes are included. 10 people for $60 camping (group discount primitive) or $50 for the day passes. call 228-346-0404.

A few people have posted on Facebook that Sugar Sands is closing. I am happy to let you know we are not shutting down and we are continuing to keep improving for your comfort. Yes we are on Bluff Creek but we are not the Bluff Creek Campground that is shutting down. We do allow alcohol in cans as well as dogs on leashes on our beach. We have clean bathrooms and beaches. We rent kayaks and canoes and our concession stand will open here shortly. We have volleyball horse shoes, rope swings fishing and so much more. Swimmers day passes are available every day.
