Craftsmen built the Heathman Lodge of wood from the Northwest forests, using fir, cedar, spruce, and pine. Designs from nature and the Northwest Indian culture inspired the paintings, carvings, textiles and sculpture by local artist.

A pretty great day on the green. ⛳️

We had the best time at the Greater Vancouver Chamber Women’s Golf Tournament with our Thrive & Drive team. It was one of those days that had all the good stuff: sunshine, great company, a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and a beautiful course at Camas Meadows Golf Course.

It’s kinda chic having a 69-foot clock tower with 35 bronze bells right in the middle of our city. 🕰️

• It’s been keeping watch over downtown since 2002, making it 24 years old in 2026.
• It has four clock faces, because apparently one just wasn’t enough.
• The tower is 69 feet tall, so it’s pretty hard to miss.
• It also has 35 bronze bells, bringing a little extra drama to your stroll through the park. 🔔
• And yes, it’s one of those Vancouver, WA landmarks you’ve probably walked past without realizing how much history is packed into one spot.

Next time you’re at Esther Short Park , give the clock tower a little more attention.
