As our camping weekend comes to an end, we want to wish all of our campers a safe drive home! Please take it slow and easy on the roads with all this rain. ☔️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who chose to spend your weekend with us at Krystal Lake Campground! We hope you made some great memories, enjoyed some time around the campfire, and had a wonderful weekend with family and friends.

🌒 Look up, campers — there's an eclipse over the lake this Wednesday!

A partial solar eclipse is rolling through right over Krystal Lake on Wednesday, August 12. Only a sliver of the sun gets covered, but it's still a neat little show and a great excuse to grab a lawn chair, kick back lakeside, and watch the sky do its thing.

⚠️ A word on safety — this one matters. NEVER look straight at the sun without ISO-certified eclipse glasses. Regular sunglasses do NOT cut it and can seriously damage your eyes. Don't have a pair? No sweat — grab a kitchen colander or poke a hole in a piece of cardboard and let the sunlight project the eclipse onto the ground. Works great and it's fun for the kids.

Bring the family, the snacks, and the chairs. See you out by the water! ☀️🏕️
