Interiors:
We are very particular about the cleanliness of the places we stay. The flooring is comprised of natural hardwood and porcelain tile with sisal rugs. All soft surfaces are steam cleaned between each guest. All hard surfaces (including furniture and accessories) were recently painted using low to zero VOC materials. We enclose each mattress in allergy/pest proof coverings. We use green practices wherever possible, including wind energy and easy to access recycling bins for your convenience. We do not allow smoking in the cottage and/or patio/porch areas. We stay busy during the off-season looking for ways to elevate your stay at the Cottage. In order to keep the Cottage fresh, cozy and comfortable, every year we select one component in the Cottage to update, refresh, replace, or improve. Every other year linens are replenished and household amenities restocked or updated before they begin to look “tired.”

Transportation:
Walk, take the Jitney, grab the bus, use your bike, or take a quick cab ride and never use your car! We can arrange to pick you up at the train if you are from the city and don’t have transportation. NO PETS ALLOWED AND NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES, PORCH OR PATIO
