Happy Birthday Patsy! We remember you, as well as our native son Roy Orbison, fondly!

Happy Birthday Patsy Cline!!!

Another wonderful musician lost much too soon, Patsy Cline was a dear friend of Roy Orbison’s. Both singers helped jump start the career of Willie Nelson by (her) recording “Crazy” and (him) recording “Pretty Paper.” Roy and Patsy had recently ended a tour together when Patsy was tragically killed in a plane crash in 1963.
