The Waldo's Pool will be closed beginning on September 3rd to begin draining and resurfacing the pool. Weather permitting the removal of the current gem coat will begin on Monday, September 8th. We expect the pool will be closed for a few weeks while this work is being done. The Breakers pool will be open for resort guests to enjoy.

Due to the noise and dust, Waldo's Restaurant has decided to close the week of September 8th. Weather permitting, if the project goes as planned Waldo's should be back open the following week.

We appreciate your understanding while we make these improvements.

I know many are wondering how we are. Driftwood is fine, we have no phones, internet, or cable since xfinity is down but we have power. I am updating from home since they are not allowing anyone over bridge at this time, but once we can we will be there to check all the rooms and get the property ready for new guests.

A suggestion for anyone staying with us this summer, follow Coastal Connections Inc on Facebook for information on their Night Time Turtle Walks and the Turtle Digs.

Coastal Connections Inc will be doing night walks and turtle digs in front of the Driftwood this summer. To join them you must sign up on their page.

New Office Hours

Beginning May 14th the Front Desk will be open from 8am to 10pm. If you are arriving after 10pm our security team can check you in until 4am.

Just a reminder, if you are checking in this Saturday, it is Vero's annual Christmas parade beginning at 6pm. The police will shut roads down earlier than 6, if you arrive during the parade events you will not be able to drive to the resort until it is finished.

Indian River County has issued an evacuation order beginning tomorrow morning. The resort will close tomorrow, we will return to the property on Friday morning if it is safe to do so. If we have power and it is safe to reopen on Friday we will.
If you are due to arrive Friday or Saturday please call the resort on Friday for a update. We will post updates on Facebook if we are able too.
If you are in the path of the storm please stay safe.

Update regarding: Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicole.

Currently the resort is open, and we are monitoring the storm. If the county issues an evacuation, we will close the resort and reopen once it is safe to return to the property.

If you are scheduled to arrive this Friday/Saturday please check in for updates after the storm.

Waldo's is closing today at 4pm and remain closed until Friday at 11am.
