The Levitt AMP Vicksburg Music Series Presented by Mutual Credit Union is bringing an extraordinary lineup of nationally and internationally recognized talent to Washington Street Park as the musical centerpiece of the Vicksburg Hipstoric Art Festival, Oct. 2 through 4.
🔥 Friday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Alexis P. Suter brings a commanding, gospel-rooted voice and an electrifying blend of blues, soul, rock and funk. A three-time Blues Music Award nominee and New York State Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Suter rose to national attention through performances at Levon Helm’s legendary Midnight Rambles and has opened for B.B. King.

Ace Monroe delivers high-voltage American rock ’n’ roll packed with gritty guitar riffs, soaring vocals and enough swagger to make the entire park part of the show. Inspired by legendary bands including Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, Ace Monroe proves rock ’n’ roll is still loud, restless and very much alive.

South For Winter closes the weekend with harmonies, cinematic storytelling and a genre-bending blend of folk, blues and roots music they call “Ameri-kinda.” This internationally touring group has earned critical acclaim for its masterful songwriting, rich instrumentation and magnetic live performances.
Come experience a weekend where fine art, live music, history and Southern culture meet in the heart of downtown Vicksburg. The Hipstoric Art Festival transforms Washington Street into an open-air celebration of creativity, while Levitt AMP Vicksburg fills the park with three days of exceptional live music.
