Starting on Monday, May 4, 2026 the NC DOT will be closing the bridge at the Front Office for repair. We will have yellow signs directing you around the construction so you will be able to check-in for your stay. The cabin road will still be accessible during this time.

Happy Thanksgiving. We are closed today so our staff can enjoy time with their families. We will reopen on Friday at 8am.

One year ago, today, Hurricane Helene changed the High Country, WNC and our resort and golf course forever.

In reality, we were extremely lucky in the storm. The damage that occurred all around us was significantly worse than I think anyone could have imagined.

The staff at the Resort came together and began the long, tedious cleanup in the days and weeks following Helene. Some of them suffered extensive damage to their own homes and some lost everything. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts over the past year along with the community around us for bringing the Resort back to better than ever.

We are pleased to say that Willow Creek Golf Course has had an amazing season and that travelers are slowly coming back to the High Country and visiting our Resort.

We hope that you will continue to visit us and tell your family and friends about our wonderful little Resort and Golf Course.

Happy Memorial Day to those who served but never made it back home. Due to the weather Willow Creek Golf Course will be closed today. If you are traveling please be safe.

WE ARE OPEN! No this is not an April fools joke. We are happy to be back open for the season. We are still recovering and repairing damages from Hurricane Helene. With that being said, please be mindful of the workers who are out on the course doing repairs. You will also see areas such as Hole #1 that are blocked off. If you hit your ball in that area, please carefully walk over and grab it and drop it outside of the posts. Please keep carts on the cart paths as we are waiting on the grass to heal and grow back. We open at 9am and last tee off is by 5pm. No tee times required.

Work has begun to repair the golf course after a January full of snow and negative windchill temperatures.

We would like to wish everyone and their family and friends a Happy Thanksgiving. Just a friendly reminder that we will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 28th so that our staff can spend time with their loved ones as well. We will reopen on Friday November 29th at 8am.
