After two days of much-needed rain, everything around the farm is thriving. 🌸🍅🥒

The flowers are showing off, the vegetables are growing, and the mountain views are putting on quite a show. Summer is definitely settling in here on the farm.🌲

This weekend was a big milestone for us — for the very first time, all of our cottages/cabins were booked at the same time! 🌲🩵

After a busy weekend of welcoming guests, cleaning cottages, and getting everything ready for new arrivals, we walked into these sweet notes left behind by guests checking out this morning.

We are beyond grateful for every family, couple, and traveler who chooses to spend their time here on the farm. Knowing that guests are celebrating anniversaries, relaxing under the stars, watching the fireflies dance, enjoying the mountain views, and even catching bass in the pond means more to us than words can say.

Thank you for letting us share our little slice of heaven among the rows of Fraser firs with you. These notes are a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do, and we couldn’t be more thankful. 💙✨

Had a surprise visitor at Songbird Cabin today! 🤭

I was cleaning the glass doors and looked down to find this little groundhog sitting on the deck looking back at me. He stayed long enough for a few photos before continuing on his way.

Definitely wasn’t expecting that while cleaning today! ❤️🌲📸

Today I spent some time in downtown Boone enjoying the crowds at Boonerang as I volunteered a little while at the Watauga County Heritage Museum booth. Thank you to everyone who took time to help set up and work at the WCHM booth today. As we continue to build support for the museum, you will find us out and about at different places around the county throughout the summer.
