Knox County Sportsman’s Club Knox Co.Sportsman’s Club is a membership club organized in 1946 This is a members only club with secure gate entry. Must be a member to camp and fish.

Featuring campsites overlooking the lake. Prospective members welcome to visit one time – contact a board member. No Indiana fishing license required-Private 15 acre lake with boat access. Pets must be on leash at all times. Location: Approximately 9 miles north of Vincennes on Old Hwy 41.

While you are enjoying the lake this holiday weekend please remember to keep safety in mind. Parents please keep an eye on your kiddos. Remember no glass bottles on the beach and please take your trash home with you. We have a pretty nice beach area. Please leave the area clean so others may enjoy it too. Let's all have a safe holiday.

Dear Club Members,
We are having issues with club members, non-members and guests abusing club access privileges. In order to stop the abuse of privileges, club memberships will be checked frequently. Have your membership card with you when you enter the club. If you have your card on your phone be prepared to show a photo ID. You may be asked to stop and show your card.

Please don't give out the gate number to non-members, not even family, that do not live in your household. Membership is for those in your immediate household only.

If you have a guest coming to meet you at the club, do not give them the gate number to come in. You must go to the gate and let them in. Non-members should NOT be given the gate number. Remember, guests may only come in 2 times before they must purchase their own membership.

Guests are not permitted without a club member with them.

We appreciate your patience in dealing with this issue.

Reminder tomorrow is the sign up day for memberships at the club. We will be there from noon till 2 pm. Don't know if we will have another sign up day or not, so come and get your new card tomorrow!

Sign up Day this Saturday April 25th from noon till 2 pm at the club. Come out and get your membership card for 2026. Warmer weather is surely on its way sometime so you can start enjoying all the club has to offer. $40 membership. See you Saturday.

Hey members, if you missed the first sign up day we had a couple of weeks ago, you're in luck. We will be at the club again on Saturday April 25th from noon till 2:00 to sell memberships. Still $40 per family. We can answer all of your questions. Nice weather is on its way! We have a playground available for the kids and you can bring your fishing poles and hit the lake. Tell your friends. Don't miss out again. Mark your calendar for Saturday April 25th and come and see us!

The campground is now open at the club. Water and electric are on. The bathroom is open. Bring your fishing poles, the fish are biting! This is a great place to spend your weekend.

Attention Knox Co Sportsman's Club members: Long term camping will be available this camping season to member families. Camp by the month or possibly longer.

Long term campsites will be available on a "1st come 1st served basis."

There will be a limited number of long term spaces available.

If you are interested in a long term spot please call Richard Williams at 812-890-5688 or John Frisz at 812-881-7062. (Leave a message)

We had a good turnout for sign up day today. We had both new members and renewals get their new cards. If you missed it today, keep checking our page as we may do another sign up day in the near future. If you want access to the club before then, you can contact a board member to get a card.
