Warmest congratulations to Worshipful Edwino Tan and the newly installed Officers of Gramercy Lodge No. 537.

May we continue to uphold and strengthen the Twinning Agreement our Lodges have shared since 2021 - an agreement founded upon the principal tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

May these virtues guide our collective efforts as we open our hearts to those in sorrow and distress, extend benevolence to those who stand upon the lowest spoke of the wheel of fortune, and work together in harmony for the good of the Craft.

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, VDL1778 visited Tallwood High School to honor Ms. Corbin Thomas Pinto, who served as Choral Director at both Bayside High School (2014-2019) and Tallwood High School (2004-2019). During the visit, she was presented with two awards: the Victory Daylight Lodge No. 1778 Certificate of Appreciation and the Grand Lodge of Virginia Certificate of Excellence.

Ms. Pinto was recognized for her unwavering passion for education and her remarkable dedication to her students. The ceremony was held in front of her class, allowing her students to witness the acknowledgment of her commitment and service.

The Grand Lodge of Virginia offers Certificate of Excellence to honor non-Masons, including exceptional educators, for their significant contributions to service and the community.

The twin lodges, Gramercy Lodge No. 537, under the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York, and Victory Daylight Lodge No. 1778, with the Grand Lodge, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, of Virginia, joined forces to organize a community outreach program in Bungahan, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines on April 27, 2026.

The primary objective of the initiative was to extend assistance to local families facing hardship. Through their collaborative efforts, the lodges distributed essential goods and financial support to approximately 200 families in the area. This outreach demonstrated the lodges’ dedication to charitable service and community support.
