Its official! We have closed on the sale of the campground this morning. The new owners will be changing the name to Virginia City KOA.
This is my last post on this page.

More visitors in the night. This black bear came through at 2 am and a cinnamon bear came through at 6am this morning.

As the sun sets over the campground, it is also setting over our time as owners of The Rambling Moose Campground . Yes, we are retiring and have sold the campground! We have one week left for the season and will be moving on in a couple of weeks. Our time in Virginia City will be remembered fondly, especially with all the wonderful people we have met over the years.

Virginia City will celebrate our history with the 2nd Annual Miners Day on September 13. This will be the campgrounds last weekend for the 2025 Camping Season. Make your reservation to attend this amazing event!
