It was a busy night at the Halemaumau caldera. Lots of new Lava just about filled the entire floor of the crater.

So Kilauea volcano is displaying Lava once again at the Halemaumau crater. Started about 3 pm today HST.

Visit one of the many Village artists and artisans and collect some new treasures for your remembrance. Go for a swim or snorkeling at one of the island's many unique beach parks. For Birders this is your opportunity to search out rare and endangered tropical birds native to this forest. Spend your day hiking along the numerous trails throughout the park or take in a late night viewing of the glowing and bubbling lava pit of the Halemaʻumaʻu crater Overlook at the Jaggar Museum. Or just relax, explore the native landscaped yard, enjoy some movies, or sit out on your Lanai where you can barbeque up your favorite dish and sit and listen the voice of the rainforest.
