Soooooo you're spending a long weekend in Waco and you're not sure what to do. We've got you!
Day 1: Magnolia & Downtown Waco
Start the morning with coffee from Common Grounds or Magnolia Press. Spend a few hours exploring Magnolia Market at the Silos and grab lunch from the food trucks. Walk over to The Findery, Spice Village, and the local boutiques downtown. Visit the Dr Pepper Museum (you have to try a hand-mixed soda!). End the evening with dinner at Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant or Milo All Day, then catch the sunset from the Waco Suspension Bridge.
Day 2: Outdoor Adventure
Breakfast at Cafe Homestead. Hike or drive through Cameron Park, then stop at Lover's Leap for one of the best views in Waco. Spend the afternoon at Cameron Park Zoo or rent a kayak and paddle the Brazos River. Finish the day with dinner at Guess Family Barbecue followed by ice cream from Heritage Creamery.
Day 3: Waco's Hidden Gems
Tour Homestead Heritage, where you can watch artisans at work and shop handmade goods. Visit the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum. Grab lunch at George's Restaurant, home of our famous drink, the Big O. Before heading home, stop by Czech Stop in West for kolaches. Trust us on this one.
Stay with D&L Vacation Rentals, and you'll be close to all the fun while enjoying a comfortable place to kick back after each day's adventures.
