Our restored post and beam barn is one of The Mad River Valley's most charming event venues. The feeling here is relaxed and comfortable; almost reminiscent of a previous era. While the internet figures itself out, we'll be over here serving things like crispy Lemon Ricotta Arancini with tomato confit and whipped ricotta, the legendary Seanahawk topped with grilled peaches, and our bacon-blueberry potato salad that has absolutely no business tasting this good.

Blueberry season has officially arrived in Vermont, and we couldn't resist putting a little twist on a classic.

Our new Blueberry Bacon Potato Salad combines fresh local blueberries from Hartshorn's Certified Organic Farm , crispy bacon from 5th Quarter VT , tender potatoes, and a tangy dressing that somehow just works. Sweet, smoky, savory... and the perfect sidekick to our slow-cooked BBQ Baby Back Ribs and Elote Hushpuppies.

Summer is short. Blueberry season is even shorter.

🏆 The World Cup may be over... but the Trophy Tour rolls on!

Yesterday, the trophy made a few memorable stops around the Mad River Valley!

⚽🏌️ The World Cup may be over... but the Trophy Tour of the Mad River Valley is just getting started!

No, it's not the FIFA World Cup Trophy... but let's not let a few technicalities ruin the fun. 😄

You won't hear me say that Martha Stewart stayed with us.

You also won't hear me say she helped design our next dinner menu... or gave our gardens her personal stamp of approval. 🌿🍽️

What I will say is that she couldn't have been more gracious when I met her. Thank you, Martha Stewart, for the quick photo op!

Now... if this week's menu suddenly gets a little more polished, that's purely a coincidence. 😉
