Vermont Inn and Wedding Venue. The 1824 House offers eight tasteful rooms and fourteen gorgeous acres in Waitsfield, a historic town in Central Vermont.

Our restored post and beam barn is one of The Mad River Valley's most charming event venues. The feeling here is relaxed and comfortable; almost reminiscent of a previous era. In Vermont, where old-fashioned small towns are more common than larger ones, caring for one's neighbors is natural and necessary. Come stay with us. Let us care for you, too.

It's a Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. Game kicks off at 1 pm. We've got Pierogies, Sandwiches and more.... See you in the barn.

We call it Yankee Pot Roast because "Super Tender, Melt In Your Mouth, Slow Cooked Beef Brisket from 5th Quarter VT" wouldn't fit on our dinner menu.

But the important thing to know:
IT IS ON OUR MENU!

Join us Wednesday - Saturday night this week for Yankee Pot Roast and more...

Reservation highly recommended.

One of the best parts of owning an inn?

This.

Before the first cup of coffee is poured, before breakfast begins, before the day gets busy... we get to open the Barn doors to this view.

Some mornings you just have to stop, take a deep breath, and appreciate where you are.

We're lucky to call this home, and we're even happier when we get to share it with our guests. ❤️
