Hey friends 💛

I just wanted to pop in with a little update on my gift basket venture. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been gathering supplies, organizing my materials, and working on the business side of things — and even though it’s early, it’s been such a joy watching this little dream start to take shape.

I’ve been working on the first official basket styles — The Mountain Moose Gift, The Celebration Gift, and The Just to See You Smile Gift — and I’m so excited to bring them to life as everything continues to come together. People have been so kind and excited about this new venture, and that support truly means the world.

I’m continuing to build out options, seasonal themes, and cozy ready‑to‑go baskets. If you have someone in mind — a birthday, a welcome gift, a little pick‑me‑up — I’d love to help you put together something thoughtful.

And stay tuned… fall baskets are coming soon, full of warm, mountain‑home comfort.

Why did the moose cross the road? To get into the willows. This mama moose and calf were spotted crossing the Arapaho NWR refuge entrance road early one morning. They were headed for the willows on the other side of the road. Moose are most active at dawn and dusk when the temperatures are cooler. Moose have huge bodies and thick fur that traps the heat and they can easily get over heated. During the middle of the day they often bed down in the shade or even in the water. So the best time to see a moose is early morning or in the evening. Although the Visitor's Center is closed before 9am and after 5pm, the refuge is open from one hour before dawn to one hour after sunset.

I’ve been working on a new little venture that I’m really excited to share with our guests at the Majestic Moose Cabin! For a long time, I’ve believed that the smallest gestures can bring the biggest comfort — and that belief has grown into something I’m so proud to finally share.

I’ll be offering thoughtfully put together gift baskets with local delivery to the cabin during your stay for birthdays, welcome gifts, thank-yous, and other special occasions. Life gets busy, and choosing the right gift can feel overwhelming, so my hope is to make gifting simple, convenient, and heartfelt for anyone who wants to send a little joy.
