Bring your garments prepared for dyeing!
Natural materials only please!
Have fabric pre-scoured and manipulated (folded, twisted, stitched, or bound) if you are planning doing a Shibori technique. Fabric will be hung on a line after dipping to be processed, but you will need to bring a plastic bag with you to transport wet items home for the final washing process. Washing and care instructions will be given out.

TONIGHT!!! Come meet !! I AM HONORED to host my highschool (Gould Academy) art teacher Lauren Head for this years first ARTWALK WALDOBORO of the season!

Lauren Head is an artist and educator living in the western mountains of Maine. Her artwork is greatly influenced by time spent outdoors; she is a keen observer of the natural world who finds inspiration in the woods, mountains, and stream beds of Maine.
Having been a working artist and art educator for over 30 years, much of the work she creates is crafted at the forge, with metal being a particular favorite material.

Lauren earned her BA in Studio Art from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and has attended numerous workshops at craft institutions around the country, including Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Penland School of Craft.

We’re hitting replay on Emily & Al’s spectacular October wedding video shot by edited by the bride herself . The big day was the perfect mix of charming and absolute, high-energy fun. We are so incredibly grateful they chose to celebrate their forever with us!

A WHOLE DAY to celebrate the re-opening of Ida’s. Start your day with a sauna with in the back yard, nibble on some yummy yum yums by and then line up for class with Erin, Allie and DJ Goldey. Dancing continues until 10 with .goldey ❤️‍🔥 so prepare thy self and come have some fun May 30th at Ida’s. * No rain date for sauna pop up. Dancing rain date - June 6th*

Tai Chi, or Taijiquan, is a low-impact, meditative martial art renowned for improving balance, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. Whether participants are looking for a safe and enjoyable way to improve their health or seeking a supportive community to practice with, this course offers an accessible entry point.
Participants will be guided through the first section of the Yang Family Long Form by instructor Lea who holds a prestigious Copper Eagle ranking in the Yang Family Association.

* Where: The backyard of the Waldoboro Inn
* When: Every Sunday, beginning 5/17 ending 6/28
* Time: 11:00 AM
* Duration: 7 weeks

A recommended contribution of $10 per class (pay at the door) However, no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay. All community members are encouraged to attend and share in the practice.

Please wear loose fitting clothes so no to restrict your motion! If this class is popular we will host a part ll!

Meet at Perch at 9am to get your scavenger hunt map and bingo card. We’ll head over to Waldoboro Village Park as a group, then it’s choose your own adventure, eventually finishing up at 17 Friendship where the village’s newest spots await: Day Boat Cafe , Holmes + Hudson Collective , Qigong Maine, New Leaf Plant Shop
