Just a short drive away on Highway 101 in Waldport, skōSH has something for just about everyone. From burgers and sandwiches to salads and refreshing drinks, there’s plenty to choose from. And if you have a sweet tooth, don’t skip one of their delicious milkshakes!

You can enjoy your meal inside, at one of their outdoor tables, or do what we love—grab it to go and bring it back to McKinley’s! We also like to take our meals down to the beach and enjoy dinner with a view of the ocean. 🌊

Looking for a classic, more rustic camping experience without hookups? Our dry camp is a favorite for both tent campers and RVers who want to unplug and enjoy the simple feel of the outdoors.

Many of our dry camp sites are situated right along the water, offering peaceful views of Alsea Bay and some incredible sunrises. Every site includes a well-maintained picnic table and fire ring, so you can end the day gathered around a campfire with family and friends.

There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, too! Enjoy horseshoe pits, tetherball, a basketball hoop, a beach volleyball court, and a sandy play area where little campers can dig, build, and let their imaginations run wild.

Whether you’re roasting marshmallows, watching the tide roll in, or simply relaxing by the fire, our dry camp is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Just a short drive from McKinley’s RV Park & Marina, Crestview Golf Club is a scenic 9-hole course that’s perfect for a relaxing round. Forgot your clubs or simply don’t want to pack them? No problem—they offer club rentals, making it easy to hit the links while you’re here.

After your round, stop by the clubhouse restaurant for a great meal before heading back to camp. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to spend part of your coastal getaway!

🦀 Renting a crab boat from us and want to increase your chances of success?

Did you know that each licensed crabber can use up to 3 crab rings? Our crab boat rentals come standard with 3 crab rings, but if you have multiple licensed crabbers in your group, we’re happy to rent you additional rings for a small fee.

More rings in the water can mean more opportunities to catch crab while you’re out on the bay!

If you’d like extra crab rings, just let us know when you reserve your crab boat so we can have everything ready and waiting for your adventure.

Looking for a peaceful coastal adventure just a short drive from McKinley’s? 🌊

Bob Creek Wayside is located about 20 minutes south of us, just beyond Yachats, and is one of the Central Oregon Coast’s hidden gems. At low tide, it’s a favorite spot for exploring colorful tide pools filled with fascinating marine life and searching the shoreline for beautiful agates.

Pack a picnic, take in the fresh ocean air, and stay awhile—Bob Creek is also an incredible place to watch the sun dip below the Pacific, making it a perfect destination for an evening outing.

Whether you’re beachcombing, tide pooling, or simply enjoying the view, Bob Creek Wayside is well worth the drive!

Staying with us and you brought your boat? You’re in luck. Our boat launch makes it easy to get out on Alsea Bay for a day of crabbing, fishing, or just enjoying the water. We also offer moorage, and if your boat spends most of its time on Alsea Bay, ask us about our on-site boat storage.

Didn’t bring a boat? No problem. Our crab boat rentals are a fun and easy way to get out on the bay. We provide the gear, so whether it’s your first time crabbing or you’re a seasoned pro, you’re all set.

One thing to remember—Alsea Bay is a tidal bay, so water levels in the bay, at the dock, and at the boat launch can change quite a bit throughout the day. A quick look at the tide chart before you head out can make all the difference. We keep complimentary tide books in the office for your convenience.

Camping is even better when your four-legged family members get to have a little vacation too! 🐾

Did you know Waldport has a fantastic dog park just a short walk from McKinley’s? It’s the perfect place to let your pup stretch their legs, burn off some energy, and make a few new furry friends.

The park features:
🐶 A fenced, off-leash area for dogs to run and play
🌦️ A covered seating area so you can stay out of the sun—or dry if the Oregon Coast decides to sprinkle a little rain
🚶‍♀️ Easy walking distance from McKinley’s RV Park & Marina

Just a friendly reminder: While dogs are welcome throughout McKinley’s, we do ask that they remain on a leash while they’re in the park. When it’s time for some off-leash fun, the dog park is the perfect destination!

🍓 Have you been to Strawberry Hill Wayside yet?

Just a short drive south of Yachats, Strawberry Hill is one of those places that’s easy to miss—but definitely worth the stop.

Take the short trail down to the shoreline and you’ll find incredible tide pools, rugged rock formations, and one of the best spots on the Central Oregon Coast to search for agates. If you time your visit with a low tide, you might spot colorful sea stars, anemones, tiny crabs, and other fascinating marine life tucked into the rocks. Harbor seals are also often seen resting on the offshore rocks.

A quick reminder: the trail can be steep in places, and the ocean here is powerful. Keep a close eye on the waves, stay off slippery rocks, and never turn your back on the surf.

Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that only take an hour or two. 🌊
