We're so excited to see ND's 14th State 🏕 Park 🚴 open this summer! One of the many additions/improvements coming to Walhalla!!
🛝 New playground coming this summer near the school!
🏊‍♂️ New pool set to open on 2027 - construction starts soon!

So fun to see all the hard work over the last few years come to life!

Be among the first to camp at North Dakota’s newest state park!

Campsite reservations for Pembina Gorge State Park open Tuesday, May 5, with the park officially opening for camping on June 9. As the first OHV campground in the state park system, it will feature larger camping pads and designated trailer parking areas. Explore rugged terrain, forested hills, and miles of trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking, OHV and horseback riding.

Join us June 3 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. for a special dedication celebration featuring guided hikes, park tours, and family-friendly activities, including the first s’mores made at the park.

Some construction will continue this season as we complete the new comfort station/storm shelter. The improvements are scheduled for completion later this year and are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the visitor experience.

Start planning now and secure your stay with us on May 5. We can't wait to welcome our first campers!

Time for a little winter refresh! Thanks to Cori Harildstad | Fantastic Finishes for her awesome work giving the AirBnB a fresh coat of paint - it was needed! It's always amazing what a little paint does to change the feel of a house! Now we're ready for 🌞SUMMER⛱️! (We like ❄️winter❄️ but this year it feels like January 95th not 31st!)

We had the honor of hosting Claudia Koesters and Gunther this past weekend! Claudia is from Austria and was an exchange student in Walhalla WAY back in 1988-89. She was in my sister, Colleen's class so I got to know her pretty well! She hasn't changed a bit and she never ages! Did you know Sasquatch love is international?! Gunther had quite a time with our Sasquatch and Claudia showed me his poses - we had the giggles! It was so fun catching up with you, Claudia and meeting Gunther - we're so glad you made Walhalla a stop on your tour of Canada and stayed at our little house!

We are trying out our new permanent lights this weekend and only had one rogue bulb on our test run, which was an easy fix! Now let's see if we can keep up with all the holidays!
