🌄 Big news… We bought a campground! 🎉

We’re thrilled to introduce you to our new adventure: Sunset Ridge Campground in Walkerville, MI — a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path retreat just a short walk from all-sport School Section Lake.

We are Nichole and Jim Kleiner. Jim was born and raised in West Michigan, and we moved back in 2017 to complete the construction of our forever home in Oceana County.

With a shared love for nature and a vision for the future, this campground felt like the perfect next chapter.

I have spent my career helping small businesses start and grow — and am now excited to dive into one of my own, side by side with my husband Jim, a builder who plans to continue developing the campground after retiring from his corporate career in operations management.

We’re also the proud parents of 8 amazing adult kids and anxiously awaiting grandbabies #13, 14, 15, and 16 this year — so it’s safe to say we know a thing or two about hosting and making people feel at home! 💛

Our goal is to develop Sunset Ridge into a peaceful glamping retreat — the kind of place where all you need to bring are your clothes and a good book. With 360-degree views across 30 acres of untouched paradise, it’s a place to unplug, slow down, and soak it all in.

We’re also planning a community pavilion for small workshops and peaceful gatherings — a space for connection, creativity, and calm in the heart of nature.
We’ve been quietly making improvements and welcoming early guests, but now we’re ready to share it with the world. If you’re looking for your next camping trip or quiet weekend away…
