ories and making new ones. We look forward to providing this plus much more. We offer seasonal and special event activities as well. Spend your days hiking wilderness trails, fishing for largemouth bass, observing Wood ducks and other fowl landing on the lake. Then enjoy the late afternoon and night by the fire-ring near the house enjoying the fresh air as you wait for the stars to appear overhead. The Silverwood farm house was built turn-of-the century in the early 1900's on top of a sand hill with a picturesque view. A hand dug well in the back of the house bearing the inscription on the inner wall of: "E.H. Margerstadt 1896" lends its part to our proud Texas History. The house includes: large kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, (with ceiling fans) full bath and large screened in front porch with a scenic view.
