The Bureau of Reclamation closed the Delta Cross Channel at about 10 a.m. Oct. 5 to protect salmon migration into the Moklumne. We do not know when they will reopen.

We encourage fishermen to call the Reclamation District for some much needed transparency here.

While Salmon season has already officially begun, Chinook Salmon are known to start getting active later in the season: September through December.
