The Whistlestop Lofts is a home away from home for anyone looking to vacation, recreate, or visit the area. Located in Downtown Walsenburg just off the I-25 Corridor, Highway 85/87, 2 blocks from Highway 10, and 4 blocks from Highway 160. Built-in 1904 yet completely renovated in 2022 you will experience all the history and charm of stepping back in time while enjoying all newly updated and luxurious amenities. Conveniently located above the newly resurrected Walsenburg Mercantile which was originally established in 1904 and re-established 118 years later in 2022. Everything inside the Walsenburg Mercantile is hand-crafted and locally grown by our community for you & your home! This is a place where life slows down for a moment. Within the mercantile is a delicious Coffee Shop, and the RegalBurg Delicatessen serves fresh and organic soups, salads, sandwiches, and paninis and is open 7 days a week from 7:00am-10:00pm! The Whistlestop Lofts gets its name as it is adjacent to the railroad tracks that used to deliver products to the Walsenburg Mercantile which was then distributed to all of the old coal mining communities in the area. Located within walking distance to dining, groceries, shopping, banking, entertainment, and the famous Crafty Canary Brewery. Let the history of this charming building blow you away while enjoying luxury, comfort, and good old-fashioned hospitality. We hope you enjoy & stay awhile!

We love hearing this! There’s something special about staying right in the heart of it all at the Whistle Stop Lofts.

Wake up and head downstairs for coffee and breakfast at RegalBurg Coffee & Deli, then wander through the The Walsenburg Mercantile and shop from 80+ local vendors....all without ever having to get in the car. ☕️🛍️
