Another Inn at Warm Springs annual staff retreat is officially in the books, and somehow we’re coming home with full hearts, tired feet, inside jokes that will last all year… and possibly matching outfits we’ll never live down. 💙
This year took us cruising to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Bimini in the Bahamas, where we soaked up the sunshine, floated in pools for hours, shared amazing dinners, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and reminded ourselves how lucky we are to not just work together, but actually enjoy being together.
Last year the question was “Where’s Daryl?”
This year the answer was apparently “Who’s Your Daddy?” while walking around the ship in matching lounge sets featuring Jarek’s face like the most loyal fan club at sea. Confidence level: unmatched.
But the truth is, what makes these trips so special isn’t just the destinations. It’s the people.
We are incredibly grateful to Jarek & Travis for continuing this tradition year after year and giving us something not many teams get the chance to experience. Time together like this means more than we can properly put into words.
And to everyone who keeps The Inn at Warm Springs, the Tavern, and the Milk House running smoothly every single day — whether you were on this trip or holding things down back home — this place runs on teamwork, pride, and a whole lot of heart. It’s the same care our guests feel when they walk through our doors, and it only happens because of this incredible group of people.
Sunshine fades. The tan lines disappear.
But this team? We’re pretty lucky to have each other.
We’re refreshed, grateful, and excited to be back doing what we love — taking care of the guests and community who make The Inn feel like home ❤️
The Tavern will reopen on Friday with regular hours! Breakfast 7 AM- 10 AM; Lunch 11 AM-2 PM; Dinner 5 PM-9 PM!
